To Solar Street Lighting Companies
The Jabal Al Sheik Municipalities Federation (JSMF) Area comprises 14 municipalities with a total population of around 30,000 citizens, from it around 3000 Syrian refugees, which is equivalent to 10% of the total residents in the area.
The area is witnessing a certain instability from security point of view, where some people are collided by cars while crossing streets with families or using motorcycles.
Lack of street lighting is a major reason for such accidents.
Also, the area is experiencing some illegal killing of birds during the migration seasons and others are experiencing night hunting activities. It happens also that the hunting rifles can also be used in theft or violence activities.
Some violations are related to cutting trees for home heating purposes due to the increase of diesel cost.
JSMF recorded above 120 cases of different violations among Lebanese residents and Syrian refugees during 2022. The detection of such violations is impossible without proper monitoring of the crossings and main streets.
Based on all above the project “Promoting Community Policing in Lebanon/Strengthening the monitoring capacity of the Municipal police and internal security forces in Jabal Al Sheik Municipality Federation District to minimize violations” targets the purchase of Solar street lights.
The project is funded by the European Union (EU), and implemented by Democracy Reporting International (DRI).
Companies with minimum two years’ experience wishing to submit their offers can fill in the form attached to this invitation to participate in the tender, sign it and put the company’s seal, and send it in a closed envelope to the address:

الى شركات تركيب مصابيح بواسطة الطاقة الشمسية على الشوارع
تضم منطقة اتحاد بلديات جبل الشيخ 14 بلدية يبلغ عدد سكانها حوالي 30 ألف مواطن ، منهم حوالي 3000 لاجئ سوري أي ما يعادل 10٪ من إجمالي سكان المنطقة.
وتشهد المنطقة حالة من عدم الاستقرار من الناحية الأمنية، حيث يصطدم بعض الأشخاص وعائلاتهم بالسيارات أثناء عبور الشوارع أو عند استعمال الدراجات النارية .
يعد عدم وجود إنارة في الشوارع سب ًبا رئيس ًيا لمثل هذه الحوادث.
كما أن المنطقة تشهد بعض عمليات القتل غير المشروع للطيور خلال مواسم الهجرة والبعض الآخر يمارس أنشطة الصيد الليلي. يحدث أي ًضا احتمال استخدام بنادق الصيد في أنشطة السرقة أو العنف .
وتتعلق بعض المخالفات بقطع الأشجار لأغراض التدفئة المنزلية بسبب ارتفاع تكلفة المازوت.
وسجل اتحاد بلديات جبل الشيخ أكثر من 120 حالة انتهاك مختلفة بين اللبنانيين واللاجئين السوريين خلال عام 2022. ويتعذر الكشف عن مثل هذه الانتهاكات دون مراقبة مناسبة للمعابر والشوارع الرئيسية.
بنا ًء على كل ما سبق ، فإن مشروع “تعزيز الشرطة المجتمعية في لبنان / تعزيز القدرة الرقابية للشرطة البلدية وقوات الأمن الداخلي في منطقة اتحاد بلدية جبل الشيخ لتقليل الانتهاكات” يستهدف شراء مصابيح
للشوارع تعمل بالطاقة الشمسية.
يتم تمويل المشروع من قبل الاتحاد الأوروبي )EU( ، ويتم تنفيذه بواسطة Democracy Reporting International (DRI)
